The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, though they have been a topic of speculation and interest throughout recorded history. So if you contact them a lot in the conscious state that might filter through to their subconscious and they will dream of you. I haven't heard that you can project yourself into somebody elses dreams any other way. I don't think, unless two human brains were collected by electrical wires directed at the part of the brain responsible for REM sleep, that would be possible. Even then it's debatable as to what effect that would have - if any.
