The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, though they have been a topic of speculation and interest throughout recorded history. GNU Free Documentation License How do you deal with horrible dreams that leave you drained & get to you? Q. I've been having lots of bad dreams this past year that were just unbelievable. The scenarios were just the most unimaginable fear-provoking and insane things ever, and I often wake up and just feel depressed just from the dream alone. Why am I getting these kinds of dreams frequently and what can I do about them to handle them? They ARE just dreams but they still really get to me. It feels like "night torture".
