What is a good resource for finding the meaning behind Japanese tattoos?
Q. I am researching a Japanese tattoo themed sleeve and I don't want to disrespect their culture or get something that doesn't mean what I think it means. What is a good resource or book on the meaning Japanese tattoos.

Hi, I am half-Japanese so I can probably help you a bit with what kind of tattoo you should get...There are a lot of reliable online websites which can help you such as: which has a lot of links depending on what tattoo you want. I would like to give you some advice though. First, remember that both Japanese and Chinese characters are similar, but often have subtle differences in the strokes. Secondly, Japanese characters can be divided into 3 categories (kanji (same as Chinese), hiragana and katakana) You probably do not want a hiragana tattoo. Katakana is only used when you are directly changing a foreign word into Japanese. You probably do not want a katakana tattoo either unless you want to have one of your name...I think… [cont.]

What would you do if someone knew the true meaning of life? What if there was no meaning to life?
Q. People are always asking the age-old question, 'What is the meaning of life?' But what I am wondering is what someone would do if they had the opportunity to know what it was, or if it didn't exist. Personally, I'd avoid the answer; I'm happy knowing that I have a life. Knowing the meaning of life could change the world- maybe for the worse. Who knows. ---I'm not asking WHAT the meaning of life is, I'm asking what you would do if someone knew it!!!---

What is the meaning of certain colors in theater for lighting?
Q. We took notes, and we have homework, but I forgot my notes so I sort of need help. :] What is the "meaning" of red, pink, yellow, blue, green, black, and white (also any other color meanings you know) in theatre lighting? Please be nice, and thanks!
